Great Mullein seeds (500 count)
Non-GMO, Open Pollinated Seeds
Mullein, or Verbascum thapsus, grows in pretty much any soil and is often found growing in ditches alongside roads, in open fields and a variety of other areas. It is a fast propagating (and often considered a weed, if allowed free reign) and disperses thousands of seeds at the end of the season. It grows best in well-draining soil and direct sunlight, akin to the high desert of Colorado, where these seeds were collected. The first year will yield a rosette of light green, fuzzy leaves similar to lamb’s ear. Leaves are used medicinally and can be collected. The second year brings a single, tall stalk that can grow up to 2 meters tall. This branchless stem blooms with dozens of delicate, yellow flowers that can also be used medicinally.
Seed count is general, as they are tiny and almost impossible to individually count. You will receive enough for many seasons, however, and are wild-born, therein a hardy generation.
