Beltane Incense Blend
Beltane Incense Blend
This loose incense blend was created with the intention to bring forth the sacred sensuality of the Celtic fire festival Lá Bealtaine (or Beltane). Among many other things, Beltane is known predominantly in celebration of fertility and the beginning of summer. In honor of that, this blend is meant to ignite the flame of passion and love of nature, the blooming cycles, the body and and the strength of love partnerships.
This traditional loose incense carries a very unique, exotic aromatic profile of bright fougère comprised of spring flowers, warming sap and summer grasses.
What you can use your blend for:
Burn as incense on a charcoal tab
Burn in ritual fire
Keep in a bowl as potpourri
Sprinkled about your home as a Floor Sweep
Poppets, Mojo Bags or Spell Sachets
Candle Dressing
....and so much more!
Add a bamboo charcoal for a pure first burn! (Option below)
Loose incense is the purest form of herbal burning, as its constituents are just that… herbs. No saltpeter, no quickstart, no unnatural inflammatories. Mountain Hedgewitch recommends using bamboo charcoal with this incense, as it burns the purest to match the incense itself; also, adding a small amount of honey to the blend will make it easier to bind the herbs and keep them together while they burn atop the charcoal.
